于是，我的心便会满怀愉悦，
与那金黄的水仙翩翩起舞。

When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the Milky way,
They stretched in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.
The waves beside them danced; but they
Outdid the sparkling waves in glee:
A poet could not but be gay,
In such a jocund company:
I gazed—and gazed—but little thought
What wealth the show to me had brought.
For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.

全诗内容丰富，景色描写优美。如云般漫步是何等的自由和快乐，看到金黄的水仙随风舞动，仿佛看到银河中那闪烁的繁星，是多么美妙的景象啊！置身于欢乐的花海中，一切烦恼必将灰飞烟灭，只有快乐相伴。在睡椅上享受这美好的画面，是多么惬意啊！

波西?比希?雪莱Percy Bysshe Shelley（1792-1822），19世纪前期与拜伦齐名的杰出的英国浪漫主义诗人。抒情诗《西风颂》《致云雀》，诗剧《解放了的普罗米修斯》以及论著《诗辩》均是他为世人历代传诵的佳作。雪莱为支持英国人民抗议运动而写的某些诗歌中的名句，后来成为劳工运动如宪章运动中传颂的歌词。

你没有形体，却把一切枯叶横扫，
犹如巫师吓得鬼魅纷纷溃离，
褐黄，墨黑，棕灰，与猩红，
一群群染满了瘟疫：哦，是你——
驾车把生翼的幼种，向黑暗的冬床遣送，
让它们躺在那儿，寒冷而低迷，
个个如同坟墓中的尸体，直到
你那碧蓝的春姑娘向着睡梦中的大地
吹响她的号角（吹拂着幼嫩的芽蕾，
犹如牛群羊群在空中觅食），
让山峦与原野充满鲜活的色彩和芳菲：
狂野的精灵，你四处游荡，
