后来又重新忆起。
因为倘若黑暗和腐朽还残留
我曾经挂念的一丝痕迹，
我宁愿你忘却而微笑，
也不愿你铭记而悲伤。
Remember me when I am gone away,
Gone far away into the silent land;
When you can no more hold me by the hand,
Nor I half turn to go yet turning stay.
Remember me when no more day by day
You tell me of our future that you planned:
Only remember me; you understand
It will be late to counsel then or pray.
Yet if you should forget me for a while
And afterwards remember, do not grieve:
For if the darkness and corruption leave
A vestige of the thoughts that once I had,
Better by far you should forget and smile

作者简介
威廉?华兹华斯William Wordsworth（1770-1850），英国18至19世纪浪漫主义诗人，湖畔派代表诗人。早年毕业于剑桥大学，受法国革命和启蒙思想的影响，写过一些充满民主思想的诗篇，后来脱离启蒙学派，主张回归自然，笔锋转向对自然的言情感悟和发掘人的内心精神世界。《抒情歌谣集》是他与柯勒律治共同创作的作品，格调清新，语言质朴，诗集的出版标志着英国文学史上浪漫主义开始进入全盛期。1843年，华兹华斯被封为英国“桂冠诗人”。

它庄严而辉煌，
任何人走过都会惊叹。
城市沐浴着瑰丽的晨光，
犹如身披一袭霓裳，清新而安详。
那些船舶、尖塔、穹顶、剧院与教堂，
直伸向绿野，伸向蓝天；
都在澄碧的天宇下闪耀着光芒。
太阳从未将这美丽的晨曦
披于岩石，播在峡谷，洒上山梁，
我从未看过，也未感受过这般静谧！
河水自由自在地缓缓流淌：
亲爱的主啊，似乎千家万户仍在安睡，
那颗伟大的心也在静静地休憩！
Earth has not anything to show more fair:
Dull would he be of soul who could pass by
A sight so touching in its majesty:
This City now doth, like a garment, wear
The beauty of the morning; silent, bare,
Ships, towers, domes, theatres, and temples lie
Open unto the fields, and to the sky;
All bright and glittering in the smokeless air.
